Furman Farms

I have recently come across a reference to a Furman Farms in Oakdale, NY. Apparently it was a dairy farm. Does anyone know where it was located? Or, when it was in operation?

I was at a club meeting yesterday and asked if anyone knew anything about the dairy farm. One of the girls said it was up the block from her on Locust Ave. She moved into Oakdale in 1975. The dairy had be abonded shortly before 1975. There were still cows, a bull and a horse roaming the neighborbood. Now on the site of the dairy farm is a nursing home and a town house.
